Vernon Davis it says Travis Kelce didn’t look like a fish out of water in his “Grotesquerie” debut… in fact, the former NFL star-turned-actor says the Chiefs’ tight end “looked pure to me!”
The former SF 49er gave the reward to Kelce while speaking with Harvey and Babcock on “TMZ Stay” on Thursday — about 24 hours after Travis showed off his performance on Ryan Murphynew FX gift.

Davis, who only in the near past acted alongside Morgan Freeman in “The Ritual Killer,” he informed his colleagues that he thought Kelce killed it… saying bluntly, “He did a great job.”
“His performance was level,” Davis added. “He was very balanced.”

If you haven’t noticed – don’t worry, we can’t spoil too much – but Kelce plays a former stripper who is now a nurse. In some of his big scenes, TK seemed to be trying to woo Niecy Nashcharacter, Detective Lois Tryon.
Early reviews from social media users (and Swifties everywhere) were largely upbeat — and it’s clear Davis wouldn’t assume they were just blowing smoke.
As for his advice on how Kelce should balance football, fame and the silver screen in the future… Davis is warning the future Hall of Famer to make sure he doesn’t put too much on his plate.
“As long as you don’t let yourself develop too much,” he said, “you’ll be able to do this.”
