Get ready, viewers.
Kate Gosselin may be returning to the small screen.
According to a new report from In Touch Weekly, the mother of eight is not in good shape these days.
She needs money. She needs excitement. She needs a purpose in life.
“She doesn’t date or socialize with friends. Even her nursing job, which earned her a fraction of what she earned on Kate Plus 8, didn’t work out,” the tabloid insider said. “She is strapped for cash and facing the very real possibility of having to sell her home in North Carolina.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Gosselin’s financial problems.
However, her twins, Mady and Cara, are living in New York City, and her other children are in college, which makes observers wonder why Kate needs such a big house — and who she can benefit from. turn to when you are sad or upset.
“She’s still trying to land a new reality show, but the doors aren’t opening for her, especially now that she’s been portrayed as a lunatic mother who tied up and locked her son in the basement,” adds In Touch. “No one would be surprised if she started begging for alms.”
And truth:
Last month, son Collin told the world that his mother used to tie him up and lock him in the basement.
“My mother had a room built in our unfinished section of the storage basement,” the 20-year-old told The Sun.
“She had a room equipped with cameras, a small window in the corner and locked from the outside.”
Collin described the area as a “containment room” and claimed, “There was a mattress on the floor and that’s how I lived.”
Collin has claimed for some time that Kate sent him to an institution for so-called behavioral problems when he was a young teenager, but was actually just trying to keep him quiet.
“I know my mom was going through a lot. I mean, a divorce and a lot of different things that can’t be easy to go through,” Collin also shared during a July 2023 interview with Vice TV’s Dark Side of the 2000s.
“And, you know, I want to think that she needed someone to take out her anger and her frustration. And it was very kind of me, you know, I was in the way and I was there. So, she chose me.”
Shortly after this interview went viral, Kate Gosselin has denied all abuse allegations.
At the time, Kate said her son had “received several psychiatric diagnoses over the years,” had many “seizures/outbursts,” one of which involved a “gun,” and:
“His brothers and sisters and I have not been directly involved in his life due to his history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies toward us.”
Kate concluded by stating “this is all I have to say on the matter and I will not discuss this matter further at this time”.
These days, amid his seemingly financial troubles, the source told In Touch:
“The feeling is that if she were a better person, good things would come her way, but she isn’t and karma is kicking her ass.”
