The eyes of the world community are focused on Iran and Lebanon, as Israel continues its operations with the aim of completely eliminating the Hezbollah threat, but also punishing the theocratic regime in Tehran.
Oil installations, nuclear power plants, military bases that host missile launchers and even individuals constitute the four options that Israel considers as retaliation against Iran. The US supports the Israelis, but does not give a blank check to Benjamin Netanyahu. Joe Biden declared that he would not support an attack on nuclear facilities.
At the same time, bloodshed is a daily occurrence in Lebanon. During the night, Israeli forces attacked central Beirut from the air. At least 6 people were killed in an attack very close to Lebanon’s parliament. In southern Lebanon, 8 Israeli soldiers were killed in ground operations. Hezbollah claims Israeli losses are greater.
Meanwhile, targets across the Middle East are being targeted. Yesterday, Hassan Nasrallah’s son-in-law was killed in a serious, targeted attack in Damascus.
Stay up to date on what’s happening.
