As previously detailed, Angelina Jolie’s children are actively trying to distance themselves from their father Brad Pitt, changing your last name.
Now, however, it looks like Angelina Jolie is finally doing the same – in a romantic sense, of course.
In fact, guys, Jolie might have a boyfriend!
Over the weekend, the actress hosted a gathering in New York City in honor of her company Atelier Jolie.
Through photos shared on Instagram by the company itself, social media users noticed that rapper Akala was present at this event… standing in the audience watching Jolie give an interview.
Why is this notable?
Because Jolie and Akala were also seen leaving a hotel in Venice together last month.
In November 2023, these same stars were seen leaving a restaurant in Milan where Jolie was filming the upcoming biopic, Maria.
Six months earlier, the Oscar winner and her alleged lover were spotted again at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica.
Neither Jolie nor Akala have commented on speculation about their status.
A source he did previously told TMZ, however, that the two were just friends. You can make of it whatever you want.
Jolie, of course, split from Pitt in September 2016.
She has not publicly dated anyone in the eight years since.
Pitt, on the other hand, has a very serious relationship with Ines de Ramon.
Heck, there were even conversations about it Pitt and Ines de Ramon will have a child together!
As for Akala?
His real name is Kingslee James McLean Daley and he is 40 years old.
British rapper, journalist, author, activist and poet, Akala was voted Best Hip Hop Artist at the MOBO Awards and was included in the annual Powerlist of the UK’s 100 most influential black Brits, most recently making it to the 2021 edition of this poll.
He reportedly has a girlfriend named Chanelle.
“They share the same passion when it comes to social and humanitarian causes,” a source told People Magazine in August of Jolie and Akala, adding this summer:
“They have done several collaborations over the years that focus on global issues like human rights. Angie speaks very highly of him.”
