Martha Stewart doesn’t spend hours thinking about her beauty routine.
The star teased her “under 5 minutes” makeup look on Instagram on Monday, telling followers that her quick glam routine is “simpler than making a pot of soup.”
As for the main components? Stewart, who recently partnered with Benefit, starts her streamlined routine with the model’s Nice Skin Prompt Glow Serum ($38) and Nice Skin Priming Moisturizer ($38).
“I remember my daughter telling me, ‘Mom, please don’t embarrass me,” she recalled while using the product. “Please, if you leave the house, don’t put on your apron – and please put some makeup on your face.”
The doyenne of the house adopted minimal makeup during the clip, reaching for Benefit’s two-in-one foundation and concealer stick – The Minimalist ($38) – before swiping on the equally transportable Bronze Balm ($30) and Day Glow Highlighting Balm ($32).
Along with Forehead 1980 Pomade ($24) and a swipe of the model’s creamy Solo Shadow ($24) on each eyelid, Stewart finished the look with a swipe of Clear Lash Mascara ($26).
“I really like mascara; I have beautiful, long eyelashes and I really like highlighting them,” she explained.
Finally, for the pièce de résistance of her dewy makeup look, the star added some shine with the model’s Slick Shade in Taupe ($24).
The octogenarian icon is no stranger to curating an incredible beauty routine, having entered the fashion industry as a teenager.
“I actually started modeling when I was really young,” she explained during her tutorial, saying she made “$15 an hour, which was a little higher than the 50 cents I made babysitting.”
And although the star has been booking much bigger gigs lately — including becoming the longest-running Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Situation Hooded Woman in history — she’s still been known to switch up her routine every now and then.
“I’m very interested in skin care and I’m always trying new products,” she told Six Fashion in 2023.
