US Vice President Kamala Harris denounced Iran’s massive missile attack on Israel and warned that the regime’s actions put US personnel at risk.
“I am certain: Iran is a destabilizing and dangerous force in the Middle East, and today’s attack on Israel only further demonstrates that fact,” Harris said.
He noted that he was in the emergency room observing the attack.
“I fully support President Biden’s order for the US military to shoot down Iranian missiles targeting Israelis, as we did in April,” the Democratic candidate added.
Iran is a threat to the entire region
Harris also said she will “always ensure that Israel has the ability to defend itself against Iran and Iranian-backed terrorist organizations.”
“Let’s be clear. Iran is not just a threat to Israel, Iran is also a threat to American personnel in the region, to American interests and to innocent citizens throughout the region who suffer from the actions of the Iranian regime and of the terrorists he supports,” he said. .
“We will never hesitate to take any action necessary to defend American forces and interests against Iran and Iranian-backed terrorists,” he concluded.
