Speaking to reporters, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said the Israeli Air Force “continues to operate at full capacity and this evening will also continue to strike hard in the Middle East, as it has done over the past year.”
“Your air defense systems Israel and of USA worked effectively. There was close cooperation in detection and interception,” he said of Iran’s 180-missile attack on Israel.
“We are still investigating (the result of the attack) and do not want to give the enemy all the information,” Hagari said.
“Iran took serious action tonight and pushes the Middle East towards escalation. We will act at the place and time we wish, as directed by the political echelon”, he continues.
“Tonight’s event will have consequences,” Hagari added.
