Professor of Neurology in Israel, Dimitris Karousis, father of 26-year-old Iona, who was among the victims of yesterday’s terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, is heartbroken.
“A student, in the prime of his life, went to do some architectural work, was at the tram station and was killed,” said Karousis speaking to ERTToday is Wednesday.
As the 26-year-old’s father described it, Yonas “was at Jaffa station, Tel Aviv, at 7pm. the terrorists went and shot him.”
“They came from the police and the army to warn us”
“We had no contact because he had no battery on his cell phone. They came at midnight from the police and army to warn us,” he noted.
“I mean, it’s crazy, the two of them, one with the Quran and one with the Old Testament, are constantly looking to kill each other, it will never stop. And this madness also kills innocent people in the prime of their lives, the best people,” said the 26-year-old’s father.
