The investment fund SMERemediumCap (SMERC) acquired a strategic stake in the company Organic 3S, with the aim of contributing to its greater dynamism in the national and international market.
As highlighted in a related announcement, the Fund is further strengthening its presence in the food and beverage sector, investing in Greek companies that produce products with high nutritional value, such as the company Osprian AROSSIS, while at the same time reinforcing the production of certified organic agricultural products.
Organic 3S operates in the food sector and more specifically in the production of breakfast cereals, cereal bars and sweetened liquids. Its clients include leading companies in the Greek food industry and supermarket chains.
SMERC strategic partnership with the main shareholders of Organic 3S, etc. Andreas Sioutis and Konstantinos Stagourakis, aims to significantly develop and expand its activities through the development of its customer base, its expansion into new geographic areas and the development of new innovative products.
SMERC will provide direct capital support to the company, with the aim of smoothly implementing an ambitious business development investment plan, which includes new production facilities and distribution networks, with the aim of upgrading its production capacity.

The agreement established the basic terms under which SMERC will immediately acquire a minority interest in Organic 3S through the purchase of a portion of the minority shareholders’ registered voting common shares. Furthermore, SMERC, in the context of the transaction, will further strengthen the company’s capital base and liquidity.
Upon completion of the transaction, the main shareholders will hold the majority of the company’s share capital and Mr. Andreas Sioutis will remain in the role of CEO, who will lead the project in question.
