A bus carrying students and teachers caught fire in a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday.
Twenty-five of the people on board are feared dead, according to authorities and rescuers cited by the Associated press.
The bus, carrying 44 people, departed as part of a school trip from Uthai Thani province to Bangkok.
Interior Minister Anutin Harnvirakul said the death toll has not yet been confirmed because investigations have not been completed, but based on the number of survivors there are fears of 25 dead.
The age of the students is not yet clear.
A rescue team said the fire likely started when one of the bus’s tires burst, which hit the bars.
