Rob Schneider was one of millions who shared their condolences after Dikembe Mutombothe death of … but his tribute to the legend stood out in particular – when he used the tragic news to promote his anti-vaccine stance.
The comedian took to X to mourn Mutombo’s passing on Monday… beginning by saying: “Rest in peace…”
Rest in peace…
I’m sure this is just (another) coincidence.
But I ignored the Jab and I’m not going to let anyone I know (and who will listen) understand it either! https://t.co/iVMOu9lTfr-Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) September 30, 2024
@RobSchneider
Many wish he had left it at that… as the rest of his post – which cited a video Mutombo made in 2021 to promote the Covid vaccine – speculated whether receiving the vaccine had anything to do with the former All-Death of the star.
As we previously reported, Mutombo succumbed to brain cancer …a battle he made public in 2022.
Schneider sarcastically said it was “just (another) coincidence” that someone who got the vaccine died at just 58 years old… and said he will continue to tell everyone he knows not to get the vaccine.
Schneider’s post resulted in hundreds of responses… with the consensus that it was a disgusting move.
One user said: “He had brain cancer. So your correlation is not correlated,” while another added, “Bro, stop with the propaganda.
Another mentioned Schneider’s toxic relationship with his daughter, Ela King – “No wonder your own son thinks you’re a low-life failure.”
Schneider isn’t shy about his beliefs…so whether you agree or disagree with him, don’t expect him to back down.
