The smoke from the huge fire that has been raging since Sunday in Corinthia has spread over a very long distance.
According to EMY director Thodoris Kolidas, the smoke from the fire in Corinthia can be seen very clearly as far as Crete, at a distance of 360 kilometers from the fire front.
At the same time, due to the maintenance of the northwest current over these three days, the smoke also spread further south of Crete, around 700 kilometers away from the fire’s focus.
