“A message was sent in the European elections,” said New Democracy MP Theodoros Karaoglou, speaking on Rush Hour with Nicole Livadaris and Pavlos Pantazopoulos on the Nautemporiki channel.
“If someone didn’t listen, then something is wrong. It is clear that citizens have sent a clear message. They want policies that solve their problems. Obviously, efforts are being made by all of us, we are committed, we support the Government and the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis so that these problems can be resolved. But he wants to do it even faster, even more decisively and not hesitate”, highlighted the deputy who was in the group of “11” that presented the issue about bad credit, which in the process led to Salma’s dismissal.
“The best is the enemy of the good. I believe that in some things we could be more decisive”, he added.
“When we see that the whole of Europe is turning to the right, we say that we also have a problem in the center. I can’t understand where we encountered this problem.”
“Society wants answers and we have to give them. Let’s do our best. We will be tougher and more decisive when necessary.”
To the question of whether the government’s problem is moving more to the right, the ND deputy responded that “It has to implement policies that solve citizens’ problems and I think that these problems are on the agenda, what we call the right, in general”.
