Royal Enfield will replace faulty side and rear reflectors on affected bikes
Royal Enfield, one of the leading motorcycle manufacturers, has initiated a global recall of its entire product line due to a possible issue with substandard reflectors. The company has identified that reflectors installed on the back and/or sides of certain models may not meet the required reflective performance standards.
While Royal Enfield has not disclosed the exact number of motorcycles affected by this recall, it has confirmed that the affected bikes were produced between November 2022 and March 2023. Currently, all 11 motorcycles in the company’s portfolio are subject to this recall. However, Royal Enfield has assured customers that only a small number of motorcycles have experienced this problem.
As part of the recall process, Royal Enfield will directly contact affected customers in a phased manner. These customers will be invited to take their motorcycles to the nearest service center, where the side and rear reflectors will be replaced free of charge. The replacement procedure should take approximately 15 minutes.
The recall is applicable in several regions, including India, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, United Kingdom, South Korea, Canada and the USA. Royal Enfield’s quick response to resolve the issue reflects its commitment to customer safety and product quality.
