PAOK PAOK announced the acquisition of Czech goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka on a free transfer. Pavlenka signed a contract for 1+1 years.
He was born on April 14, 1992 in the Czech Republic and began his career with Banik Ostrava, where he played from 2012 to 2016 making 68 appearances.
In 2016, he transferred to Slavia Prague, where he played 41 matches, keeping 19 clean sheets and helping the team win the Czech championship.
In 2017 he made the jump to Germany, moving to Bremen on behalf of Werder Bremen. He played in the Bundesliga for seven years (221 matches) and emerged as one of the best goalkeepers.
He “wrote” 21 matches for the Czech National Team.
