Yoav Gallad confirms that a land invasion of Lebanon is imminent, avoiding, however, giving details about its timing and extent.
Israel’s Defense Minister visited the country’s northern border and spoke to soldiers stationed there to send a message that “we will use all available means” to safely return displaced residents of the country’s north.
“The neutralization of Nasrallah is a very important step. But that’s not all,” he commented, adding: “We’re going to use all the possibilities we have, and if someone on the other side doesn’t understand what we mean, we really want to say them all.”
Addressing the military, he said that “you are part of this effort and we have confidence in you that you can achieve everything”. He went on to declare that “everything that needs to be done will be done. We will use air, sea and land forces.”
