Israeli operations in southern Lebanon are just around the corner.
At 9pm on Monday, the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) declared an entire area (pictured) near the border with Lebanon, which includes three communities, a “no-go military zone.”
The imposition of this measure is signed by the head of Northern Command, Ori Gordin.
“The Israeli army clarifies that entry into this area is strictly prohibited,” says the lieutenant general’s order.
This is a development that reinforces reports of an imminent ground operation by Israeli armed forces against Hezbollah on Lebanese soil.
