Hulk Hogan is a twice-divorced man. Is your third marriage heading in the same direction?
The WWE legend has had a bit of a resurgence in 2024. Between speaking at the RNC before Trump accepted the Republican Party’s nomination to the recent Netflix documentary, Mr McMahonin which Hulk made some shocking confessions, there’s no escaping him.
It’s been some time since Hogan has appeared on the world stage like this, as misfortunes in his personal life have kept him out of the spotlight.
Among them include a sextapebeing fired from WWE for using the N-Word and two failed marriages.
Now the talk around town is whether her latest wedding will play out like her first two. Is divorce near for Hulk?
Linda, Hulk Hogan’s first wife, and their divorce after 24 years together
In the 1980s, there was no bigger name in wrestling than Hulk. In fact, some will argue that without Hogan, WWE wouldn’t be what it is today.
Because of this, when Hulk Hogan married Linda Claridge in 1983, the wedding was attended by everyone from Vince McMahon to Andre The Giant.
To the world, it seemed like the couple had the perfect marriage. They welcomed two children together: daughter Brooke and son Nick.
Then it came Hogan knows what’s bestone of the first family reality shows of its kind. For 4 seasons, legions of fans tuned in to VH1 (is that still a channel?!) to watch Hulk and Linda fight with their kids and keep their marriage together.
In the end, the show was canceled – as was their wedding.
Why Linda Divorced Hulk Hogan
In November 2007, People Magazine reported that Linda had filed for divorce. Apparently, she did this without telling Hulk Hogan, which will be ironic as the saga continues.
A year later, Linda’s publicist Gary Smith said AND! News that Linda filed for divorce after discovering that Hulk had an affair with one of her daughter Brooke’s close friends, Christine Plante.
“Almost every statement that comes out of the Hulk’s mouth is a diversionary tactic to divert attention from the real thing. reason why Linda filed for divorce, two words: HULK IS CHEATING!” her publicist insisted.
Hulk has vehemently denied these allegations, both publicly, through his own representatives, and in his own words. In his autobiography, My life outside the ringHulk acknowledged that Linda had repeatedly suspected him of numerous infidelities, nothing romantic had ever happened with any of the women he was “friends” with.
This became a tough pill to swallow when Brooke’s friend Christine confirmed the case herself.
“My relationship with (Hulk) began at a time when (Hulk) and Linda (Hogan) knew privately that their marriage was ending,” she told National Inquirer.
“She had already left him, although no official documents had been presented. (Hulk) is a good man, a good father and a good friend, and he and I got close at a time when he was going through a very difficult time. It felt right then, but I know it was wrong.”
Hulk’s second marriage also ended in divorce
Three years after Linda broke up with Hulk, he married his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel, in 2010.
After two years of dating, the couple pledged their love during a ceremony in Clearwater, Florida.
They they were together for 11 yearsand they looked very happy together.
In 2022, he posted a photo of himself and another woman (enter Sky Daily) on social media, and called her “girl”. Fans immediately flooded his accounts, confused as to how he could have a new girlfriend when he was supposed to be married to Jennifer.
The answer? He “forgot” to mention that he was divorced.
“Hey maniacs, just for the record, the Facebook and Instagram posts are from me and my girlfriend Sky, I’m officially divorced,” he wrote at the time. Twitter. “Sorry, I thought everyone already knew, I love my Maniacs4Life”
It was then that court documents were obtained by TMZ Sports who revealed that they filed for divorce in October 2021.
No real reason has emerged to explain why they split.
Hulk Hogan’s Current Wife and Rumors of Divorce and Family Feud
With the news that his second marriage was finally out of the way, Hulk continued to get serious with his new girlfriend, Sky Daily.
Two years after his last divorce, he married Sky in October 2023. Sky is reportedly a yoga instructor and has three children from a previous marriage.
Speaking of children, Brooke Hogan made it very clear that she had no interest in her father’s remarriage and therefore did not attend his wedding.
“As many of you know, I value my privacy but unfortunately, many media outlets are making assumptions about why I didn’t attend my father’s third wedding. Instead of leaving everything up to speculation, I decided it’s best to wrap it up here,” she posted. “For my journey toward healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values.”
As for any divorce rumors between Sky and Hulk, if there’s trouble in paradise, they’re doing a great job of hiding it. Just a week before his appearance at the RNC, Hulk treated his wife to a birthday surprise. The pair saw Jelly Roll at the show, who then serenaded her on stage.
Hulk called Sky “amazing” and looked very smitten in the video.
Therefore, as of now, any divorce rumors seem baseless.
Maybe the third time will be the charm for Hulk Hogan?!
