Jason Sudeikis wanted to beg fans to back off during a recent outing… telling autograph seekers that he actually got scared leaving the club and just wanted to go home.
Eyewitnesses tell TMZ … there were about 15 to 20 autograph-seeking followers outside the Dynasty Typewriter Comedy Club in Los Angeles to wait for Jason starting at 6:30 p.m. We’re told he left the club at around 9:30 p.m.
When he left the house, he signed an autograph or two – and the rest of the fans kind of rushed him, asking him to sign for them too.
Jason – who wasn’t actually planning on sticking around to signal, it seems – started heading towards his car… which is where the video begins, showing fans chasing him down the road.
Watch the clip… there are just a few guys following JS – and at least one guy who seems to walk in lockstep with Jason before he stops and asks them to leave him alone.
He tells them the interaction outside the club – being crowded by so many people at once – “scared the shit out of him”… and he says he’s now heading to his car and isn’t signing anything.
Pay attention to his voice… the star is clearly shaken – and he’s practically begging these followers to let him get on with his night.
Jason isn’t the first celebrity to be blindsided by all the eyes in public… remember, last month Chappel Roan followers stolen for crossing borders – telling them to respect her house as soon as they see her on the road.
