With a goal from Manos Garthia in the 63rd minute, Aris emerged victorious in the Thessaloniki derby against PAOK, in the 6th game of the championship.
The Spanish midfielder made the difference, while the hosts, “caught” at 13 points by Olympiacos, had (among others) two of their attempts to stop at Questa’s posts.
For their part, the “yellows” improved to 11 points and in six games they defeated two of the championship favorites, PAOK and Olympiacos.
In the 27th minute, Tyson’s turn on the right, Tisundali’s shot stopped at the base of the left post and went out.
In the 35th minute, counterattacks favored Diadi, but the Senegalese’s one-piece shot found Kotarski ready in the left corner.
The “black and whites” had their best moment in the 39th minute, with Constantélia shooting poorly, unprotected from the penalty spot.
The “yellows” were alerted in the 57th minute, with Kotarski having difficulty repelling Moron’s shot in the corner, after hitting Baba.
Three minutes later, Kenziora caught Dundee in the last minute, after a cross from Manu Garcia, with the Spaniard keeping the best for himself when, with enormous individual energy, he deflected three opponents and “executed” from a side position to make it 0- 1 at 63′.
PAOK pressed in the remaining time, with Aris giving space and looking for a good counterattack, but they almost paid in the 84th minute when the post deflected a well-struck shot from Baba instead of Questa.
