Ariana Grande is saying “thank you later” to the gossip about her love life… clarifying the document for the first time after debuting her romance with Ethan Slater last year.
The singer addressed the hypothesis surrounding the origins of her relationship with her “Depraved” co-star in a new interview with True Vanity.
Considering it was widely reported that Ariana and Ethan collectively acquired after separating from their respective spouses at the time, Dalton Gomes and Lilly Jay …that hasn’t stopped people from wondering if there’s more to the story.
Grande admitted that the general public’s interest in her relationship hasn’t gotten any easier, especially as the “negativity” has been fueled by “disreputable tabloids.”
She continued… “Of course, I went through a lot of changes in my life while filming this movie. Many people who were involved in this did so. We have been away for 2 years. So, of course, I understand why it was a hot day for the tabloids to come up with something that would pay their dues.
However, the pop star said “the most disappointing part” was how so many people considered it “the worst version”… although, she said she “will never go into certain details” about her journey with Ethan.
AG defended her beau from criticism, however…enthusiastic about the Broadway star’s varied nature.
She added… “No one on this earth tries harder or tries harder to be there for the people he loves and cares about. There is no one in this world with a better heart, and that is something no stupid tabloid can rewrite in real life.
Ariana and Ethan became romantically linked for the first time in the summer of 2023… after the release of the sentence about the singer’s relationship cut off from husband two years and ES asking for divorce of his son’s mother.
Ariana and Ethan continued to keep a low profile amid the gossip…going out unusual date nights during the last year. But the pair indicated they might be a little more public with a night at the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs hockey game in June.
They’ll have to get used to the spotlight, as their film “Depraved” is predicted to be a box office hit this Thanksgiving.
