Hard rock met symphonic music on the night of Saturday, September 28th at Herodion. This is a significant date as it is the first time that a death metal band has broken through the roof of the Roman conservatory.
The rock and metal sounds of Septic meat with the symphonic sound of the Athens State Orchestra, for the first time in Greece, they presented a unique show together with the Piraeus Vocal Ensemble Libro Choir.
“A dream come true. Justification and hope for a change of philosophy in Greece and motivation to set new goals,” he told No. Christ Antonioufounding member of Septicflesh.
Two special guests flanked the band and added even more atmosphere to the unique show, Fany Melfi on introductions and Vahan Galstyan on duduk. These are these dear Septicflesh collaborators, who couldn’t miss the night that started with the powerful symphonic sound of the Athens State Orchestra with 60 musicians on stage under the direction of the internationally renowned Dutch maestro Koen Schools. The organization of the performance and production of Classic Rock 8 was carried out, as every year, by the acclaimed company Robin 4 Arts.
At the end of the night, both the band and KOA were adored by the audience, with a standing ovation that echoed throughout the Acropolis.
