Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will visit tomorrow, Monday Iran and will meet with the country’s president, Massoud Pezheskian, Moscow announced.
“Special attention” will be paid to the implementation of large-scale joint projects in the areas of transport, energy, industry, agriculture and others, the Russian government said in its statement.
Mishustin will also hold talks with Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref.
The West accuses Iran of supplying the Russian military with missiles and drones for its war in Ukraine, but Tehran has repeatedly rejected that claim.
Pezheskian will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the BRICS summit, which will be held next month in Kazan.
