Travis KelceHis acting career took off last year, but it is NOT the direct result of his relationship with Taylor Swift …that’s what “Friday Night Lights” says actor Sinqua Partitions, who counts TMZ Sports Activities he’s getting gigs because he’s a natural – but being a three-time NFL Super Bowl champion doesn’t hurt either!!
The 39-year-old actor – also known for his starring role in “White Men Can’t Jump” remake – broke it down for us this week… right after he passed a billboard for “Grotesquerie,” a new horror TV series that includes Kelce.
“I think what we’ve seen in Travis’ last few years is that he has a natural, innate charisma and personality,” Wells said.
“I feel like if you can translate that into your role as an actor – if you can try to channel that, then it’s good.”
So Wells isn’t letting Kelce’s famous girlfriend get the credit score. Of course, many fans, and many Swifties, believe the “Fortnight” singer has honed his career outside of the industry.
“Nah, he’s a champ,” Partitions said of Taylor’s supposed impression of Kelce’s Hollywood career.
“The last few years, that man has won so many championships with him and (Patrick) Mahomes. They have grown together, each of them has built an even bigger profile. I think it brings more exposure and more opportunities, which it should.”
Kelce’s leisure career began again in 2016 when he starred in his own reality dating show, “Catching Kelce.” He also appeared on “Moonbase 8” in 2020 and hosted “Saturday Evening Live” in early 2023.
All this before he connected with Swift.
“As I said, it is not inconceivable for an athlete to transition to becoming a great actor,” Partitions said.
“It’s a lot of potential.”
