George Clooney is saying goodbye to his old bachelor pad… because he just sold his Los Angeles property where he used to party like crazy.
Our real estate sources tell us… the actor’s 6-bedroom mansion in Studio City’s Fryman Canyon is changing hands for $14.5 million.
George owned the house for almost three years…he bought it again in 1995 from Steve Nicks for $2.2 million… and has hosted many events and large gatherings over the years.
The sprawling property features 7,000 square feet of residential space spread between a main house and several other guest houses on a 3.1-acre lot. It has all the resources, including a tennis court and swimming pool.
Once George settled down with Amal Clooneythe area went from a bachelor pad to a family home… and Amal told Vogue in 2018 that the property was the couple’s “private oasis.”
The place is quite isolated… it is hidden behind a lot of bushes, providing a lot of privacy.
The sale is a big change for George and Amal’s real estate portfolio… which also includes properties in Italy, France and New York. So they have different places to put their hats.
Kurt Rapport of Westside Property Company Inc. represented George in the transaction. We contacted Kurt, who confirmed the sale, but had no comment.
