According to a Reuters report, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg will present in the next 24 hours the artificial intelligence program developed by goala genetically intelligent chatbot, which will communicate with users through the voices of well-known actors.
Judi Dench, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Nora Lum (better known as Awkwafina), Keegan Michael Key are some of the artists who agreed to lend their voices to the show.
Companies that develop artificial intelligence chatbots that communicate vocally with users try to reach an agreement with well-known artists so that the programs speak in a voice that is familiar and/or loved by many users.
Recently, there was a scandal with OpenAI, which asked Scarlett Johansson to collaborate and voice the famous star in one of the company’s programs that created ChatGPT, but when the actress refused, the company went ahead with its plan and, without officially mentioning it, launched the controversial program that spoke in Johansson’s voice. The actress reacted strongly and publicly, forcing OpenAI to back down and apologize.
According to the report, the announcement about the AI program and the voices that will compose it will be made at Meta’s Connect conference, which starts on Wednesday. The voices of famous artists will be heard on the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp apps.
