Aubrey O’Day kept his foot firmly on the ground Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ neck during the last nine months of his accumulating sexual assault cases. Now, O’Day is apparently using the song to react to Diddy’s sex trafficking and other allegations.
As previously reported, a Manhattan judge detained the producer to the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center on September 17. Another judge your bail appeal was denied the next day. His attorney revealed plans to expedite the trial, but admitted that the timeline depends on prosecutors handing over details of the case. Meanwhile, a retired Brooklyn-MDC warden shared that Diddy’s pretrial detention could be a rigorous experience.

Aubrey Seemingly Takes a Shot at Diddy Through Comeback Song
As for Aubrey, her new track marks the second time she’s responded to Diddy’s legal troubles. Last week, O’Day took to her X account (formerly Twitter) to repost messages of support for her ongoing public slams of Combs. Additionally, she shared her own words about justice and called P. Diddy’s arrest a “victory for women.”
“The purpose of justice is to provide closure and give us space to create a new chapter,” Aubrey O’Day wrote. “Women never get that. I feel validated. Today is a victory for women everywhere, not just me. Things are finally changing.”

Over the weekend, the singer shared a side-by-side collage of herself and Diddy on her Instagram Stories. In black text, she revealed that she wrote the song in 2013. Meanwhile, the song’s lyrics talk about there being “no escape” and “feeling betrayed” by an unspecified situation.
Aubrey also shared the track and Diddy’s cover art on his X profile, along with other posts criticizing the producer. Within 12 hours, his X teaser for the track garnered over 21,000 views and around 33 responses from supportive fans.
@Jenn_McW wrote, “You have stood your ground throughout the resistance. Most people don’t know how much courage it takes to do that. I sincerely hope that this current situation can bring you some healing. Thank you for not giving up.”
@IamKrock added, “I’ve been ten toes in the business, my girl’s been talking her chest! Only everybody decided to ignore Aubrey. Now look.”
@ray_tell7 replied, “Queen, you’ve been saying this about Diddy since you joined the band, you’re the only one who stood up to him, once there was no one else there, everyone was scared, but you weren’t. You were a truly strong woman.”
As @KingStaxx91 said, “You were timed from the beginning. I’m glad you’re finally being exonerated. Sir, protect this woman at all costs!”
Less than a year before Cassie filed her sexual assault lawsuits against Diddy in November 2023, O’Day alleged that he tried his luck with her. She revealed that Combs cut her off from Dainty Kane after she didn’t do what was “expected of her,” hinting at sexual favors.
Then in March, after the feds raided Sean Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles, O’Day spoke out. “What you sow, you will reap. I pray this encourages all victims in the US to finally speak out about what we have suffered,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
