Halle shares how pregnancy changed her diet
In addition to advocating for herself and her son, Halle opened up about how pregnancy has changed her diet.
TSR shared a clip from the “Angel” singer’s recent Instagram livestream, where she answered questions from fans.
When a fan asked during the live stream if she was still following a vegan diet, Halle replied, “not anymore.” She then explained that her pregnancy prompted her to start eating meat again.
“I’ve been vegan for[13 years]at that point. And I was honestly like, well, I’m going to give my body what it wants now because I’m doing a really hard job of creating a human being. And I also wanted to make sure that Halo was getting the proper nutrients and things that he needed,” the R&B singer explained.
Despite the change, Halle also shared during the live that she still eats vegan food when she feels like it, but occasionally includes meat options as well.
