Remember Octomom? Well, now she’s on her way to being Octograndma!
Nadya Suleman became an internet sensation in 2009 after giving birth to octuplets. Photos of her went viral, as did the fact that she is now a mother of 14.
A decade later, Nadya is now a grandmother.
Yes, one of their 10 children has welcomed his first child – and Octomo is over the moon!

Nadya, 49, shared the first photo of her grandson on Instagram.
It’s a girl – name not revealed – and the photo shows the girl’s little foot appearing from under a pink blanket.
Without revealing which of her 10 children welcomed the baby, the new Nana wrote: “Thank you my son and lovely daughter-in-law for giving us this beautiful gift! We are so blessed that she is a new addition to our family!”
“Baby girl you are so loved and we can’t wait to watch you grow!! 8/30/24 ????????❤️,” she added, seemingly revealing that the little one was born on August 30.
Who is the father?
Now, anyone who is good at math will realize that Nadya’s octuplets – Noah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, Makai, Maliyah and Nariyah – are only 15 years old in 2024.
But Octomom was already the mother of six children when she gave birth to the octuplets.
Their names are Amerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua and Aidan and they range in age, some much older than their famous siblings.
For example, a few weeks before announcing that she was going to be a grandmother for the first time, she posted several childhood photos of his son Joshua on August 21 to celebrate his 21st birthday.
“I am so proud of the man you are becoming. You are smart, funny, hardworking, loyal, humble and now a devoted husband and soon to be a father,” she wrote.
And there you have it! Joshua, at 21, is the father of the new baby.
Now everyone can relax!
What has Octomom been up to lately?
Nadya has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part since 2013.
While talking to PEOPLE In 2016 about her decision to abandon her “Octomom” fame, Nadya confessed: “I stopped wanting to do this from day one.”
“I was violating my boundaries and my value system and myself. I didn’t think about it at the time because I was in survival mode, and I was doing everything I could to provide for my children,” she continued.
This is quite understandable. What mother wouldn’t do whatever it takes to ensure her children have a future?
And now there’s a whole new generation to think about!
