A traffic accident occurred in the morning on the provincial road between the villages of Arzos and Krios, in the municipality of Orestiada, when the vehicle carrying 10 illegal immigrants veered off course and fell into a canal.
According to initial information from ERT Orestiada, the injured were transported by ambulance to Didymoteicho General Hospital for first aid.
So far, 2 irregular immigrants have been examined and their condition is considered satisfactory. The passengers in the vehicle are all men and will have to remain in the Hospital for one day as a precaution until all the examinations are completed.
