Here’s what Amber Rose said about Donald Trump’s claim that he eats pets
On Thursday, September 18, TMZ released a video interview with Rose, filmed outside Los Angeles International Airport. In the clip, a reporter explained to Rose — who is a avid Trump supporter — that he and Vance were recently accused of “being really racist” toward the Haitian community in Springfield, Ohio.
The reporter briefly referenced the pair’s claims about Haitians “eating their dogs.” In turn, Rose interrupted the reporter with a question: “Why is this racist if it’s true?”
At this point, the reporter realized the falseness of the claim, but Rose continued to disagree.
“No, no, we’re not going to do that because people have come out and said their cats and dogs have been hung in front of people’s houses. And they saw it with their own eyes,” Rose said.
As the conversation continued, Rose explained that she is “so tired” of Trump being accused of racism.
“I feel like Democrats are obsessed with race — let’s get over it!” she said.
In turn, the reporter explained that Trump and Vance’s comments apparently “attack” the black community.
“No, it’s not,” Rose replied, adding. “It’s a known fact that within Haitian culture… some Haitians eat cats and (dogs.)”
Finally, Rose explained that Trump and Vance’s allegations are “not racist” because evidence is allegedly being posted online.
“(The accused) happen to be Haitian,” Rose said.

The outlet reports that Trump and Vance have since used the rumor in their presidential campaign. AP NewsTrump even reiterated the claim during his recent presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Despite this, the outlet notes that Springfield officials have reported the rumor as false.
“In response to recent rumors alleging criminal activity by the immigrant population in our city, we would like to clarify that there have been no credible reports or specific allegations of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community,” said Bryan Heck, Springfield City Manager’s Office.
