Kim Kardashian shared back-to-school photos with clear signs of a growth spurt in the North West.
It seems like it wasn’t that long ago that young North began to realize that her family is very, very famous.
Since then, the North has developed your own interests and your own sense of humor. That’s part of being a person. And it’s part of growing up.
She and her siblings are growing up right before our eyes. Kim Kardashian fans are doing a double take at North West’s obvious growth.
North West and her siblings are back at school
“School lethargy is coming,” Kim Kardashian captioned a post. Instagram post with your children.
North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West appear in a short slideshow of photos, which you can see below.
Kim is also seen with her kids. Although it’s the second half of September and most of the students have been back at school for weeks, Kim clearly decided to document her kids now that they’re back in the swing of things.
North West was born on June 15, 2013.
That means she’s 11 years old in these September 2024 photos. (North also clearly has braces, which adds an extra sparkle to her smile.)
She is 11 years old. She is a pre-teen, officially. North West is less than two years away from becoming a teenager. (Anyone else feeling really old while processing this?)

North West wasn’t the only family member who received a lot of comments.
Another Instagram user noted, “Psalm is not ready.” He seems like a sleepy guy.
“Psalm sounds like a fed-up adult,” wrote another. To be fair, he’s 5. The horror of getting up well before noon to take care of responsibilities is very new to him.
Sharing photos of celebrity children can be tricky
Unfortunately, Kim Kardashian’s children were always, always going to be famous. She was a household name around the world long before North West was born.

Many celebrities make careful choices about sharing photos of their children. In Kim’s case, those back-to-school photos really can’t hurt. The whole world knows about her kids.
