According to Johnson, Diddy was involved in a rampage prior to the attack. Cassie was allegedly present along with a “commercial sex worker.”
As seen in surveillance footage, Johnson noted that Cassie left the room and Diddy “stormed out” wrapped in a towel as the attack on her took place.
By Lee tweetJohnson explained that afterwards, Cassie informed Diddy that she had “horrible bruises.”
AUSA: We have a message from the Victim, I still have crazy bruises. He claims he wanted to get his clothes back. But that’s not what happened to her. She tried to escape from a room with the defendant and a commercial sex worker – she ran away without shoes

In response, Diddy texted Cassie: “Call me, the police are here. I have six children. Hey, please call me, I’m surrounded. You’re going to leave me alone.”
As the hearing continued, Johnson reportedly explained that Diddy only admitted his abuse towards Cassie after footage of the assault emerged.
“Yesterday it was alleged that her clothes were taken – but that’s not what happened. Why drag the victim back down the hallway to the bedroom?” Johnson reportedly said. added.
Ultimately, Johnson reportedly claimed that Diddy could not be taken “at his word.” The attorney reportedly reiterated that the investigation into the 54-year-old remains ongoing and “half a dozen escorts is just the tip of the iceberg of the number of escorts who participated in these crazy things…”
AUSA: Our investigation is ongoing. A half dozen escorts is just the tip of the iceberg of the number of escorts who participated in these aberrations. This case is charged with sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion. The acts were not consensual.

Per Lee, in response, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agifilio alleged that Cassie and Diddy willingly and mutually “invited” third parties into their sexual relationships. Furthermore, the attorney alleged that the workers participated if they felt like it, and not for payment.
Ultimately, Agifilio argued that Diddy should have the court’s trust to be released on bail. However, the judge stated that the 54-year-old was a danger to the public.
Judge: I have heard from both parties, I think the government has proven that the defendant is a danger. As for the bail package, it is insufficient, even if he is a flight risk.
