Let’s take a look at the upcoming sedans and hatchbacks in the Indian market
In this era of SUVs, we rarely see new sedans and hatchbacks in the Indian market. However, there are a few in the pipeline that are expected to be launched in the near future. Let’s take a look at the top 10 sedans and hatchbacks that are scheduled to be launched in India next year!
1. New Maruti Dzire
The first is the new generation Maruti Dzire which is expected to be launched during the festive season. It will be given a facelift, following the latest design language of the Swift but with a few changes to differentiate the two products. The interior will also get different colour tones and is expected to come with more features. Maruti is likely to offer a top-notch sunroof with the new Dzire. It will share the new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine with the Swift. The price is expected to be Rs. 7-10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
2. New Honda Amaze
Next on our list is the direct rival of the Maruti Dzire, which is the Honda Amaze. The new generation Amaze will be based on a new platform, finally getting rid of the Brio underpinnings. The new architecture will be derived from the new City. It will have an all-new design language, inspired by the latest Honda Civic in the international market. Expect a host of new features on offer. However, it will continue with the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine option. It will be launched by the end of this year with a price range of Rs. 7-10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
3. New Skoda Superb
Now, here’s a much-awaited special D-segment sedan, the new-generation Skoda Superb. It features a redesigned exterior and a new minimalistic interior that is loaded with advanced technology to the brim. The new Superb will be offered with the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It is also rumoured to be reintroduced with a diesel engine option. Skoda is expected to launch this sedan in early 2025 as a fully-built unit. We expect it to be priced around Rs. 50 lakhs (ex-showroom).

We believe it will be priced around Rs. 30-35 lakhs (ex-showroom), positioned well above the Skoda Slavia.
5. Skoda Slavia Facelift
Yet another Skoda sedan, but this one is expected to be launched by the end of 2025. Recently, the test mule of the Skoda Slavia facelift was spotted testing in India with heavy camouflage. The updated Slavia is expected to come with a price range of Rs. 12-19 lakhs (ex-showroom).
