U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter — after hearing arguments from attorneys — said he was denying the request because “the government has proven that the defendant is a danger. The bail package is insufficient, even with a flight risk.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson brought up the freak sex parties Diddy hosted. She alleged that he filmed people having sex with male escorts, partly to use as blackmail.
Johnson says these victims are claiming he drugged them and then used the tapes he made to extort money from them as well. Diddy has categorically denied these allegations.

She says one such incident occurred on March 5, 2016, when Diddy allegedly tried to force a woman to have sex with an escort…after which, she says Diddy chased the individual down wearing only a towel — clearly referring to the viral video of Diddy beating Cassie.
The prosecutor says this alleged incident with Cassie proves that Diddy can’t be taken at face value… and promises that the half-dozen sex workers they found allegedly connected to the case are the “tip of the iceberg.”
Johnson also makes allegations about a series of alleged retaliatory actions… alleging that victims’ heads were thrown through car windows to coerce them into participating.
AUSA Johnson adds that the state is interested in the guns they allegedly found with their serial numbers removed… saying it’s not about safety, but rather “dangerousness.” She argued that Diddy shouldn’t be released on bail because he’s allegedly been in contact with people involved in the case numerous times — including the singer. Harper Dawn about 128 times.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marco Agnifilothen presented his rebuttal… presenting the proposed plan from the legal documents they filed earlier today.
As we told you… the star — which is currently incarcerated at MDC Brooklynformer home of several notable stars — placed its bail appeal in writing earlier today… proposing that he return to his home in Miami on the condition that he severely restrict who can visit him.
He says his security team — Sage Intelligence — will hand over nightly visitor logs to the government to show exactly who he’s coming into contact with… and specifically, he’s offered to restrict female visitors — with the exception of family members or mothers of his children.
Diddy also promises he won’t contact any known members of the jury. In fact, his lawyers say he won’t even have a cell phone, so he won’t be able to contact anyone.

As for the amount he’s offering, Diddy is sticking to his $50 million bail package, secured by his Miami residence and his mother’s house.
His lawyers argued that Diddy voluntarily surrendered his passport, that his family members surrendered their passports and that he submitted a letter of intent to sell his plane … so Diddy isn’t planning to skip court, they claim.
As for the employees, Agnifilo says they all handle their finances in California…so no one is in and out of the house. When it comes to the video of Diddy beating Cassie, Agnifilo said Diddy had a history of drug addiction, which contributed to the incident.
Agnifilo mentioned Gov. Andrew Cuomo during his time as well… saying he engaged in similar conduct to Diddy’s and was not prosecuted. Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by about a dozen women.
Prosecutors have laid out their case to keep Diddy in jail without bail … saying they fear he will intimidate witnesses and further obstruct the case if released on bail. The state is also concerned that Diddy is a flight risk because of his massive financial resources.
Ultimately, the Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky bail denied to Diddy originally… and now Carter has done the same.
