Derek CarrThe New Orleans Saints quarterback’s recent touchdown celebration was “bad” in the eyes of the NFL — because the New Orleans Saints quarterback was fined a hefty sum for channeling his inner Michael Jackson against the Dallas Cowboys.
The rather shocking moment (considering the subject matter) came during the second quarter of the Saints’ win over America’s Team in Week 2… when No. 4 executed a quick QB rush to help his team win 35-13.
Once he reached the end zone, Carr did his best MJ impression… kicking his leg and grabbing his butt before heading back to the sideline.
Although Carr was not penalized during the game for his antics, the league reviewed the behavior and determined it was “too outrageous” for its taste, handing him a $14,000 fine.

@Santos
Carr is known for being a straight shooter… but hey, the guy has made just under $200 MILLION over his career — so he can afford to act naughty every now and then.
The Saints are certainly off to a great start in the 2024-25 season… and if they can continue to build on their 2-0 start, perhaps there will be more Carr celebrations to come.
Just keep PG, DC.
