Pharrell Williams – The Strongest Man has a message for celebrities who publicly express their political views – shut up!
The singer gave an extensive interview to The Hollywood Reporter and at one point the conversation turned to politics, which led him to criticize his fellow artists.
Pharrell said he gets irritated when certain celebrities, whose opinions he doesn’t respect, try to get people to vote for a specific candidate.
He also explained that he is not political and thinks other artists should follow his lead, stating… “I’m one of those people (who says), ‘What the hell? Shut up. Nobody asked you.'”
Pharrell didn’t stop there, adding that he despises it when celebrities think they’re moralists and walk around with a sign promoting their political ideologies.

Concluding his thoughts, Pharrell said he cares about the country and “my people” and feels there is a lot of work to be done, but he is ready to take action.
Interestingly, Pharrell did not identify the celebrities he was referring to. But, one artist from the other side of the political spectrum is Taylor Swiftthat recently — and very publicly – endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Donald Trump – the Republican candidate – criticized Swift for supporting Kamala.
