EDEKAP, Commission responsible for the procedures for electing its new leadership PASOK rejected allegations of defamation by alleged representatives of presidential candidates at its meeting today.
According to its announcement, “the Committee met with its expanded membership of all representatives of the candidates for President, categorically denies them. EDEKAP declares that it continues its work in a spirit of cooperation and denounces any attempt to undermine it.”
They did not agree on the form of direct dialogue in the debate.
During the meeting, no agreement was reached on the form of direct dialogue between the candidates. According to reports, the majority of the candidates’ representatives in PASOK agreed with the method, while the representative of Nikos Androulakis formulated a different proposal. A compromise proposal was presented by the representative of Anna Diamantopoulou.
New session is scheduled for tomorrow.
