Both discuss the issue that record labels have allowed rap to poison the minds of consumers so well, to the point where fans don’t even know they are being manipulated… until it is too late!!!

Dee-1 wore a pair of beat-up Nike LeBron Soldiers on his track “Call It Like It Is” and went to great lengths to slam the culture… “Y’all turned this culture into trash, these so-called legends ain’t legends / I don’t care if they sold millions, are you listening to their message? … Rap’s biggest gangsters got blonde hair and blue eyes / We gettin pimped, what you boys wanna do?”
Reality rap has made “The Breakfast Club” question the role radio plays in the equation… the airwaves heavily favor a certain subgenre of hip hop, and it’s usually not positive music!!!
