A video that has now gone viral shows Shakira reacting to someone filming under her dress last weekend. The incident reportedly occurred while the singer was filming a music video at Miami’s LIV nightclub.
Video shows Shakira’s reaction to privacy violation
As suggested, the video started first appearing on social media on Sunday (September 15). According to TMZShakira was filming the video for her new single, “Soltera,” which means “single woman” in Spanish. Known for her waist-cinching and belly-dancing moves, Shakira was having a blast! A man at a microphone introduced the single as the celebrity took the stage wearing a sleeveless light brown dress that stopped just above her knees. She smiled and posed for the cheering crowd, then began shaking her hips.
Seconds later, Shakira apparently noticed someone near the stage filming up her dress. She gestured toward them, pointing to her eye, then to her genital area and shaking her finger in a “no” motion. She threw her head back for a moment, put her hand on her hip, and continued dancing.
After a slight turn, it appeared that the camera creeper wasn’t too happy with the angle, so Shakira left the stage. The video doesn’t show the person in charge, but another angle shows the singer leaving the stage, stepping behind the VIP section and talking to other people there.
Shakira has not addressed the apparent incident on her social platforms. However, sources reportedly told TMZ that Shakira got over her alleged irritation within 15 seconds. She reportedly had a great time overall and continued filming her music video.
The singer’s love life also made headlines this year
Earlier this year, the streets of celebrity blogs and the internet were rife with speculation about the status of Shakira’s love life. In March, she was spotted in the company of British actor Lucien Laviscount, a regular on the Netflix series ‘Emily In Paris.’
At the time, TMZ reported that he was in New York to support one of her live performances. After the show, they reportedly went out for some good food.
