A 12-year-old student stabbed six of his classmates and a teacher at a school in the town of Azabusa, about 50 kilometers northeast of Lisbon, Portugal.
The perpetrator of the attack has been arrested, Portuguese police announced.
The lives of the injured are not in danger
According to what was learned, the lives of none of the injured are in danger, although a girl was taken to a hospital with more serious injuries.

“He started stabbing everyone in sight”
The attacker “started stabbing everyone he saw,” Mayor Silvino Lúcio told CNN Portugal.
In his subsequent statements to the SIC Notícias network, he said that, after an argument, the 12-year-old left school, went home and returned shortly afterwards.
He then took out of his backpack what appeared to be a bulletproof vest and a knife, with which he attacked anyone around him.
