Trump comes after Taylor Swift
Donald Trump’s Twitter account apparently woke up and chose violence on Sunday morning, posting a message about Taylor Swift on ‘Truth Social’.
The former president took to the social media platform to write: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
Trump’s comments came after Swift publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris and his running mate, Tim Walz. The pop star’s endorsement of Democrats came after the first presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Harris on Tuesday (September 10) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here’s What Taylor Swift Said Before the 2024 Presidential Election
Shortly after the first presidential debate aired on September 10, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to share a lengthy message. The ‘Shake it Off’ singer encouraged her fans to research the issues and understand Trump and Harris’s stances.
Swift revealed that Trump’s false, AI-amplified claims about her support for him prompted her to come clean about her real voting plans for the 2024 election.
Taylor then confirmed her support for Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. I will be voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend them. I think she is a strong and talented leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm rather than chaos. I am so encouraged and impressed by her choice of running mate @timwalz, who has been a champion of LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” Swift wrote.
The Guardian reports that Taylor spoke about the election during her appearance at MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards (VMAs) on (September 11). The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer urged fans and the public aged 18 and over to register to vote.
