And the winners are…
THE 76th Emmy Awards fell on Sunday night for the second time in 2024 — however, we were positively no furious at the rise of A-list stars.
Hollywood’s finest gathered at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles to enjoy the TV programming, hosted by father and son duo Eugene and Dany Levy.
Shogun (Shogun) dominated the night and, after being nominated 25 times, FX’s critically acclaimed drama took home 4 wins, adding to the 14 statuettes the show has already received at the Emmy Awards for Performing Arts.
The bear swept through its comedy classes, taking home 4 awards as well. Combined with last week’s Artistic Arts Emmy Awards, its tally stands at 11 wins this year, breaking its own record of 10 wins at the 75th Emmy Awards earlier this year.
However, Tricks was the surprise winner in the Best Comedy Series category, following the Best Lead Actress award for Jean Sensible.
And while The bear and Shogun (Shogun) lead the night, Netflix’s Reindeer Child — which took the world by storm in April — was triumphant in 4 categories, including wins for Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning.
