The week begins with changes in the climate scenario, as we will face falling temperatures and rainfall.
As National Weather Service Director Thodoris Kolidas notes in his post, for the first time in a long time temperatures are expected to fall below normal levels, which marks the end of a prolonged period of high temperatures and heat.
“More than a quarter of temperatures above normal levels”
“We have been used to temperatures above normal levels for more than a quarter. So the situation is changing, to remind us that it is (should be) autumn weather,” he says characteristically.
At the same time, he notes that “The ‘dominance’ of blue in Southern Europe is evident and this could not have happened if it were not for the violent invasion of #Boris in Eastern Europe with the cold masses invading the western parts of the upper lower.” See, nature sometimes, even in a violent way, tries to balance the situation.”
