Tyreek Hill — the Dolphins’ best player — was taken to the ground and handcuffed just hours before kickoff in Miami on Sunday … though it appears he will still play.
A video circulating on social media shows several police officers confronting the 30-year-old player just yards from Hard Rock Stadium, where the Finns will face the Jaguars at 10 a.m. PT.
Check out the video… Hill was forced face down onto the ground — while authorities appeared to yell at him.
It’s unclear at this point exactly what Hill is accused of doing…but the team said in a statement moments after the incident, “Hill was stopped for a traffic incident about a block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released.”
“Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved arrived safely at the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”
In fact, Hill is expected to take the field in Miami within minutes to begin preparing for the Jacksonville game.
