The third time may be the charm for Lady Gaga … who confirms that she met the groom Michael Polansky.
The singer shared a rare insight into her relationship with the businessman in her new Vogue cover story… explaining all about their first meeting and instant connection.
According to the pop star, her mother, Cynthia Germanottaput Michael on her radar after crossing paths with him amid shared philanthropic endeavors… telling Gaga she “just met your husband.”
Although Gaga was wary of pursuing Michael at first, she orchestrated their meeting in Sean Parkerbirthday party in September 2019… where they hit it off immediately and talked for 3 hours.
Michael expressed a similar first impression to Vogue, saying he was “immediately struck by her warmth and openness.”
After keeping in touch over the phone for weeks, they finally went on their first date… which led to them quarantining together in Malibu during the pandemic.
Gaga credited the alone time as a win for their relationship… as it allowed her to “completely focus” on their burgeoning romance without career distractions.
She added… “I met a totally supportive and loving human being who wanted to get to know me — other than Lady Gaga.”
Michael proposed to Gaga in April after a day of rock climbing… however, the couple kept their relationship updates under wraps for several months.
The singer appeared to confirm the engagement during the Paris Olympics… when she proudly referred to Michael as her “fiancé.”
