Nicki Minaj‘s husband is in hot water online… with many calling him out — and Nicki, by extension — after he used a homosexual slur on a TikTok live stream.
Kenneth Petty appeared alongside Nicki in a music studio when they went live on Friday night… and while Nicki instructed her followers not to let people steal their joy, KP added his own controversial two cents.
Kenneth says, “That’s right, mostly the f****** or f*** boys,” using a derogatory term for gay people used predominantly in the rap world.
As you can imagine, individuals are not completely satisfied with Kenneth online… and a lot of them are upset with Nicki too — because she didn’t take ownership of her man in the video.
Many followers are stating that Nicki has a large LGBTQ+ fanbase, but she didn’t support them when Kenneth used the term… and many have said that she doesn’t really care about her Barbz.
The couple tied the knot in 2019… and welcomed a son within the next 12 months. Some controversy has followed the couple since Petty was pressured to register as a sex offender in California in 2020, stemming from his conviction for attempted first-degree rape in 1995.
We’ve reached out to Nicki’s team for clarification on Petty’s use of the slur… so far, no word yet.
