Tom Brady celebrated his 47th birthday showing off his still very impressive physique.
The NFL legend took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday and reposted a carousel post highlighting his big year, which included the seven-time Super Bowl champion enjoying a shirtless boat ride. In his Story, Brady overlaid the text, “Birthday selfie, new tradition! For accountability, of course.”
His next story paid tribute to his older sister, Julie, who shares the same birthday as her little brother. They were often referred to as twins growing up, despite their three-year age difference. In his story, Brady shared an old photo of him and his older sister.
“Most important birthday today!” Brady wrote over the photo honoring his older sister.
The next two snaps show Brady enjoying a birthday cake with his family, including 11-year-old daughter Vivian, who helps her dad blow out the candles. Brady captioned the carousel post, “The lost files of 46! What a special year with these beautiful kids, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, and all of you! Here’s to making 47 our best year yet… Plus you can post a selfie on your birthday everyone relax 😜🙌🏼🦁.”
It’s been a big year for Brady, who recently was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame. It was at this ceremony that he also gave a shout-out to his children: son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11 — whom he shares with his ex-wife. Gisele Bundchen — as well as Jack, 16, from her previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.
“Your dad loves you more than anything in this world,” Brady — who lives in Florida — beamed. “His smiles outshine the morning sun. And where I live now, that sun is pretty bright.”
“There is no greater joy than watching you three grow and teach me things on the way to becoming amazing young adults,” Brady added.
Before induction, Brady revealed the cute video of his kids made him celebrate the important event.
“Hey Dad, we’re all so excited to be back in Boston this week,” Vivian said in the cute clip, “and I thought it would be fun to reminisce about all those amazing years as a Patriot.”
