Taylor Swift is fully involved with the Paris Olympics, narrating a promotional video celebrating the American women who rocked it.
The promotional track is her 1989 hit, “Style.” Taylor pays tribute to the greats of 2024… Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky It is Sha’Carri Richardson.
I have to say…the words reflect Taylor’s own journey… “Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching. Because there is no one way to be the best. There is no one way to inspire everyone else who will one day follow. You do what you love. You love what you do. You believe in your style, whatever that may be.”
The games were a huge success, if viewership is any measure. TV ratings were off the charts.
BTW… Swift isn’t the only singer who’s jumped on the bandwagon. As you know, Celine Dion It is Lady Gaga both rocked the Opening Ceremony. It was Celine’s big comeback after being sidelined by Stiff Person Syndrome. TMZ broke the story… now she’s pretty much certain she’ll start a residency at Resorts World either late this year or early next year.
Beyonce Bey also ran a promotion honoring Team USA, so famous women have been celebrating incredible U.S. athletes in droves. Bey said, “Let’s talk about power, because that’s really what this story is about. Physical power. It’s beauty, it’s wonder, the way it never ceases to amaze you.”
She continued… “Then there’s spiritual power, the kind that really matters. The power you can’t see, only feel. The power you need in those moments when life throws a curveball at you.”
