Vice President sends THIS message to Donald Trump about their presidential debate
According to CNNOn Friday night, Trump took to Truth Social to say he would not participate in his and Harris’s upcoming debate, which was scheduled to be held by ABC News on September 10. Instead, Trump is claiming he will only participate in a discussion that will be held by Fox News on September 4.
On Saturday, August 3, Michael Tyler, Harris’ campaign communications director, reportedly responded to Trump’s words.
“Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out,” Tyler reportedly stated. “He needs to stop playing games and show up for the debate he already committed to on September 10th. The Vice President will be there one way or another to take advantage of the opportunity to speak to a national audience in prime time. Mr. Anytime, Anywhere, Anywhere should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th.”
Furthermore, Harris herself came to Xformerly known as Twitter, to react to Trump’s message.
“It’s interesting how ‘any time, any place’ becomes ‘a specific time, a specific safe space.’ I’ll be there on September 10th, as he agreed. I hope to see you there.”
